Now, with the thrilling 2014 DTM season being over, the motor-racing enthusiasts may look forward to the ‘extra time’: at the Essen Motor Show (29th November to 07th December), right before entering the off-season, the top division of international touring-car racing once again will showcase itself in big style. An 800 square-metre booth in hall 3 (stand A160) will feature action, information and DTM atmosphere at your fingertips. Quite obviously, the 460bhp racers will represent the eye-catcher of the DTM appearance: here, the visitors can get closer than ever to Audi RS 5 DTM, BMW M4 DTM and DTM Mercedes AMG C-Coupé. And the DTM aces also will be on site. On the two weekends of the fair, three drivers representing the three German premium-car manufacturers involved in DTM, Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz will attend the stand again and again for interview rounds and autographing session.
But even in those periods of time when none of the DTM drivers is on site, attending the DTM booth is worth while. Throughout the event, hall 3 always will provide the visitors things to be experienced, to be discovered and to be won. The DTM Experience game consoles, for instance, offer the visitors the chance to compete with groups or just one other rival – and on the two weekends of the fair, the winners even can win the opportunity to battle it out with one of the DTM drivers on site. The Carrera slot-racing circuit also should represent a major attraction as it also offers the opportunity to win give-aways, tickets for the 2015 DTM season and more.
Fair premiere: Audi Sport TT Cup prototype at the fair stand
Furthermore, the Essen Motor Show also features highlights from the DTM environment. The FIA Formula 3 European Championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, for instance, will be represented by vehicles. And both the makers of the series and the fans will be particularly delighted when taking a look at the Audi Sport TT Cup. It’s one of two prototypes for the latest asset to the DTM support programme: from 2015, the Audi Sport TT Cup will represent the attractive motor-racing format for newcomers. And the DTM partners also will make their contribution to make sure that the visitors never will be bored. Dekra, for example, will be represented by a show truck.
