Jamie Green At the Top Of His Game.

For Sunday´s DTM race at the Lausitzring Audi again secured the four top spots on the grid. Jamie Green, who in the Hoffmann Group Audi RS 5 DTM of Audi Sport Team Rosberg captured the pole position with an unusual advantage of more than half a second, was the man of the day.
“My car is simply perfect this weekend,” said the Briton after the ‘dream lap´ he set shortly before the end of the 20-minute qualifying session. “Yesterday, I could have not only clinched victory but the top spot on the grid as well. I didn´t quite manage that because the first lap wasn´t clear yesterday. The lap today was near-perfect. Still, it´s going to be a long and tough race this afternoon.”
Grid position two was achieved by Mattias Ekström in the Red Bull Audi RS 5 DTM of Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline. Timo Scheider, who is driving with a helmet sporting a retro look and a photo of his first kart on Sunday, in the AUTO TEST Audi RS 5 DTM of Audi Sport Team Phoenix made sure that the drivers of all three Audi teams took positions in the top three. Miguel Molina (Teufel Audi RS 5 DTM) completed the Audi quartet at the front.
With Edoardo Mortara (Castrol EDGE Audi RS 5 DTM), Nico Müller (Audi Financial Services Audi RS 5 DTM) and Mike Rockenfeller (Schaeffler Audi RS 5 DTM) in places six, eight and nine, seven of the eight Audi drivers secured top-ten grid positions. Adrien Tambay (Playboy Audi RS 5 DTM) took 20th place.
